Today would have been my beautiful nana's (Betty Brown) 100th birthday. There was no one else like her. She loved a glass of sherry and could talk so fast and for so long that most times I had no idea what she was saying. She was brutally honest and at times offensive, which I think is why I loved her so much.
With the smell of French deserts cooking or fresh sausage rolls in the oven it was always inviting in her home. She always dressed beautifully and her eyebrows were pencilled-in daily. We all know how important a good eyebrow is!
I've had a business idea for a while now and with a very supportive husband along with encouraging family and friends I'm taking the plunge and will be starting my very own line of leather and fur bags, clutches and purses. I'm super excited and can't wait to get everything finalised over the next few weeks.
In loving memory of my nana and her love for a good handbag (usually a vintage Oroton) I've named my company after her and launching my Facebook and Instagram pages today. Please like and share - staying tuned for pics of my designs and future competitions.
Thanks so much
